| X (hold) | Fast flush: open the flush valve, then release for the square-wave test. Count the oscillations after release (1–2 = adequate). |
| O | Turn the stopcock: to the patient, or off to the patient and open to air |
| Z | Zero to atmosphere (only with the stopcock open to air) |
| W / S | Raise / lower the transducer 1 cm (or drag it in the 3D view). Level it with the green phlebostatic axis. |
| 1–4, Enter | Quiz: answer, next. Set up / Troubleshoot: record the reading or finish |
| T | Show the patient's true pressure (dashed white) under the displayed trace |
| B | Shade inspiration on the monitor (to read pulsus paradoxus over whole breaths) |
| K | Caliper: drag the line to read the time after the R wave and the pressure. Double-click to pin a second line: it reads the interval and its frequency (ringing peaks after a flush) |
| F | Freeze / unfreeze the monitor |
| P | Download a PDF report: numbers, event log and waveform strips |
| L | Labels on the monitor and in 3D |
